Virgin Blogger

This is my first attempt at blogging so please be cautious with me.  I am new here!

I have been asked several times to write a book featuring stories from my life.  But my friend Jill is the one who suggested a blog.  I do have a file where I jot down funny stories but that is so I won't forget them when my children are old and have children.  Yeah, that is a lie.  It's so I won't forget them next week.

Now, please don't think I am about to make promises.  I will not blog every day, maybe not every week.  I will not brag incessantly about my kids.  (They're great but they are still kids; they screw up [they have some great examples!] but we are crazy in love with them.) Nor will all of my posts be solely about them.  I am a creature of randomness.  My sixth grade reading teacher wrote (IN ALL CAPS) at the end of the year...."THIS JOURNAL IS A SCREAM TO READ.  I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH YOUR CHANGE OF SUBJECTS."  So if a warning should exist it would be this:  Take it for what is is, an outlet for my friends and family to laugh with me at this insane life God has allowed me to live.  Another disclaimer:  Although I like to edit musings of others, I am not going to be uptight about punctuation and spelling.  That is right, Dearest Mother-in-Law; leave your red pen on the table.
